The Mitre Field car park will be closed during the construction phase of the new multi-function track (“pump track”) from 22/9/2025 for approximately 5 weeks.
The car park will be open for parking and access to the Scout hut from 5pm until that evening’s JOGS activities are completed.
We request that the JOGS groups and sections using the car park in the hours 5pm onwards ensure that all cars are removed from the car park after the evening’s activities are complete and secure the car park to show that the car park is closed.
There must be no cars in the car park between 8am to 5pm during the construction phase so that HGVs can have unhindered access to deliver or remove materials throughout construction, turning and offloading, etc., and health and safety to segregate the public from the hazards of a construction site.
