Memorial Safety Check

A memorial safety check will take place on Thursday 3^rd July 2025 at the burial ground on Monsom Lane.  Any found to be a safety issue could be toppled to ensure that the memorial does not fall on anyone who enters the burial ground.  Please be aware that the Council will endeavour to contact the owners of any that are found to be loose or toppled.  It is the responsibility of the memorial owner to ensure that work is completed to rectify the issue.  All work should be carried out by a qualified and insured stonemason, who should contact the Parish Council to book a date to remove and/or replace a memorial.
