Councillor Shortt was first elected to the Parish Council in May 1999.  John has had close family connections with Repton since childhood and has lived in the village for over 30 years.  He is delighted that Repton Parish Council was able to gain Quality Council accreditation in 2008 so it is well equipped to represent the changing needs of the community.

Councillor Jerram was first elected to the Parish Council in June 2004. He is currently the Parish Council representative on Repton Village Hall Management Committee and the Low Cost Housing Management Committee.  Chris has lived in Repton for about 50 years off and on, and now welcomes the opportunity to put something back into the community in which he grew up. He is not averse to change provided it is to the benefit of the village as a whole.

Councillor Paulson was first elected to the Parish Council in June 2003. He is a member of the Village Maintenance Committee and the Village Improvement Group; also the Parish Council's spokesman on highways matters and its representative on the Association of Airport Related Parish Councils. Roger is particularly concerned with improving local facilities for teenagers, to the benefit of the whole community.

Councillor McArdle was first elected to the Parish Council in May 2003, and is a member of the Playing Fields, Burial Ground and Allotments Committee.  She is also a Governor for Repton Primary School where she is employed as Bursar.  Barbara's particular interest is in maintaining the local public footpath and bridleway network for runners, riders and cyclists like herself.

Councillor McLaren was first elected to the Parish Council in June 2006. Bernice has lived in the village for 38 years and her three children were born and brought up here. She is a Governor of Repton Primary School. Her career was in education and she has a particular interest in young people.

Councillor Roberts has lived in Repton for 25 years.  He was first elected to the Parish Council in May 1987 and is a member of the Playing Fields, Burial Ground and Allotments Committee. A past Parish Council Chairman,  David is a retired dental surgeon with three children and three grandchildren.  A bell ringer at St Wystan's church and ringing master for over 16 years, one of his duties is to wind the church clock twice a week.
